HYPERBLAST is a model feature which allows
the strobe to emit at continuous and full flash power for short bursts,
called HYPERFLASHES. These HYPERFLASHES are EXTREMELY bright, ultra high
intensity, exaggerated pulses of pure white light. HYPERFLASHES can be single
pulsed or sequenced in each of 5 special effect modes. A simple control
scheme of the rate & intensity channels, accessed from your control
console, determines whether the unit operates in normal or any of the HYPERBLAST
modes. HYPERFLASHES can be used to accurately simulate arc welding flashes
or properties of lightning storms.

HOW HYPERFLASH WORKS
Hyperflash is controlled by the rate
input channel only. The intensity channel must be off to be in the Hyperflash
mode. Any positive input on the intensity channel will deactivate Hyperflash
and the strobe will return to normal operation.
With the intensity channel set to zero,
bumping the rate channel to a given level (see table) will trigger a HyperBlast
flash in one of 5 modes (see table). The rate channel must return to zero
before another HyperBlast can be activated.
Hyperflash and HyperBlast are Trademarks
of Diversitronics, Inc.
